NIGEL CAIRNS
As President and CEO of QuIC, Nigel is responsible for driving QuIC's business growth and profitability. Prior to being appointed President and CEO in December 2004, he was Senior Vice President of Sales & Business Development where he was responsible for worldwide sales of QuIC's products and services, and oversaw operations for all international offices.

Nigel brings over 20 years of experience to QuIC, as a senior executive in leading risk software companies and as a risk manager in financial institutions. Immediately prior to joining QuIC, Nigel was Vice President of Global Sales for risk software vendor Algorithmics, where he grew annual sales to over $100 million. Prior to that, Nigel headed sales for IBM Global Financial Markets EMEA Region with responsibility for the sale and delivery of software solutions and professional services to financial institutions throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Nigel has also worked directly in the trading and risk management departments of various financial institutions including Swiss Bank Corporation and Bank of America, where he was head of credit risk management.

DOUG WOODHAM
Doug was most recently the President of Moody’s KMV and Senior Vice President of Moody’s Corporation, where he had operating responsibility for the credit risk solutions business and corporate responsibility for strategy, corporate development, and technology.  While at Moody’s Doug was instrumental in shepherding the company through a period of record revenue, operating income, and share price growth as the number three executive at the firm. During his tenure at Moody’s, Doug led the acquisition of KMV as well as the integration of KMV with two other software businesses owned by Moody’s Corporation. Doug’s career has included positions as a Partner in the financial services practice at McKinsey and Company, Vice President in the energy trading and finance division of Enron Corporation, and Managing Director of eFinanceworks, a private equity firm investing in early stage financial services companies.  Doug started his career as an Economist with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in 1982 following completion of his Ph. D. in Economics at the University of Michigan.  Doug’s academic credentials also include time as a Research Fellow at the Brookings Institute.

ROBIN LOUIS
Robin is currently the Chairman of Ventures West, and is focused on a portfolio of software companies. Prior to joining Ventures West in 1991, Robin was the CEO of Columbia Computing Services Ltd., a provider of software used in K-12 schools for administrative data management. Under Robin´s leadership, Columbia became the dominant company in its industry, was listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, and subsequently was sold to a British acquirer. Robin has served on the boards of several Ventures West portfolio companies and currently serves as a director of Marqui.  Robin is also a member of the board of governors of Science World British Columbia and is a member of the board of the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association, where he was President from 2003 to 2005 and is now Chairman. Robin earned a B.Sc. (Honours) and M.Sc. degree from the University of Victoria and a Ph.D. in physics from the University of British Columbia.

BOB SMITH
Bob joined the board of QuIC in January 2006 at the time of JMI Equity’s initial investment in QuIC.  JMI Equity, based in Baltimore and San Diego, is a private equity firm exclusively focused on investments in the software and business services industries. Founded in 1992, JMI has invested in over 60 companies throughout North America and has approximately $700 million of capital under management. Bob joined JMI Equity as a partner in 2000.  Prior to JMI Bob was with ABS Capital Partners, a $1.4 billion private equity firm, where he focused on mid- to later-stage software company investments. From 1994 until 1999, Bob was a Vice President with Alex Brown in their Technology Investment Banking Group, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and public equity financings. Bob, a graduate of the United States Naval Academy served as a nuclear submarine officer in the U.S. Navy from 1987 to 1991 and holds an M.B.A. from Duke University.

TODD FARRELL
Todd Farrell is a Vice President at GrowthWorks Capital Ltd., one of Canada's leading venture capital groups with over $700 million under management. Todd brings to QuIC over 15 years of experience developing new businesses and products based around innovative technologies, as both a business operator and a venture capitalist. He currently sits on the boards of Coligo Networks, D-Wave Systems, Soft Tracks Enterprises, and QuIC. Todd holds a Bachelors degree in finance from UBC and an MBA from Bath University in England.
